Google Drive is a great tool for businesses. It allows to create collaborative documents shared between several people. Nevertheless, if our personal space can easily be stored, the list of shared documents quickly becomes an unspeakable shambles. Google is aware of this and has just announced a new organizational system.

The section "shared with me" should, therefore, become " smarter " and put more emphasis on the owner of the file. Indeed, Google indicates that search by owner is the way to find a most popular file on Google Drive at the moment.

Thus, the new interface will use priority artificial intelligence to predict the people and files that you are most likely to search to make them more visible.

Predictions should improve over time by learning from the user. Other features based on artificial intelligence and machine learning should also see the light of day in the coming months.

This first update including AI should take place over the next 2 weeks, with a gradual rollout as it is currently in it's beta version.
